Independent digital product studio

Ideas, forged
end to end.

Strategy, design, brand and engineering under one roof, and one pair of hands. From the first sketch to the product in your customers' hands.

Working directly with Timothy Nice

Most products lose their edge in the handoffs, as strategy passes to design, design to build, and build to launch. Foundry 6 removes the handoffs. One person who has done all four holds the whole idea in their head, so what ships is what you meant.

That means fewer meetings, faster decisions, and craft that survives contact with production, because the person designing it is the person building it.

Selected capability

Three parts of the same craft.

Glass panels mapping research, flows and language into a finished product interface, traced by a red signal line

Shaping

From a paragraph to a plan

Discovery that ends with a drawn system: the model, the flows, the language. Founders leave the first week able to explain their product in one sentence.

DESIGNING

Complex products, made clear.

From the first interaction to the deepest workflow, every screen has a reason to exist. I turn complicated systems into products that feel obvious, cohesive, and distinctly yours.

Building

Shipped, not simulated

Production front ends, real data, real accounts, real launches, built with AI-assisted tooling and finished by hand where it shows.

The Nice Brothers homepage, a writing site designed and built by Foundry 6 Studio

Featured project

Nice Brothers

A writing site I designed and built with my brother: essays on design, code, AI and the messy mix of building and living. Brand, design system, front end, and the publishing flow behind it, all from this studio.

The Studi03D web app, a tool for building layered isometric SVG illustrations

Featured product

Studi03D

A quieter workspace for turning flat icons and line art into layered isometric SVG stacks. Product thinking, interface design, and the working studio itself, shipped as a real tool with transparent exports.

The approach

Idea → design → build → launch, without a relay race.

  1. Idea

A week of hard questions. We name the customer, the wedge, and what has to be true for this to work.

  2. Design

Identity and interface designed together, in flow, in prototype, never as static slides handed to someone else.

  3. Build

Production code as the design settles. Real data early, so the product is tested against reality, not a mockup.

  4. Launch

Ship, watch, sharpen. The first version goes out with its details intact and a plan for the next one.

Who you'll actually work with

Timothy Nice

I'm a designer, builder and early AI adopter with a habit of making complex systems feel simple and human. My career started in video games at LucasArts, working on Star Wars titles, and today I serve as VP of Product Design at LightRiver.

Foundry 6 is where I take that experience directly to founders and small teams. No account managers, no handoffs, no junior work slipped in behind the pitch. You work with me, and I build the thing.

Outside of work my world is family, faith and fun: time with my wife and kids, coaching youth sports, and playing hockey whenever the ice is free.

The invitation

Tell me about the thing you want to exist.

Send a few sentences and we'll set up a call. If Foundry 6 isn't the right fit, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
